Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

Goodwill®’s SCSEP gives older workers an opportunity to refresh their skills, re-enter the workforce, and make extra money without losing any currently-established benefits.**

**While SCSEP income generally doesn’t affect SNAP, EBT, or usually SSI or SSDI benefits, it is always a good idea to consult with a Social Security representative for more specific guidance.

Goodwill® proudly participates in the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), a national employment and training program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. A $21,412,734 grant from the U.S. Department of Labor provided 90 percent of the funding for Goodwill’s SCSEP programs in the program year 2026. Goodwills provided the remaining 10 percent through in-kind contributions worth more than $2,379,193.
